Reineke Fuchs ist ein Epos in zwölf Gesängen von Johann Wolfgang Goethe. 1793 entstanden, lag es im Mai 1794 im Erstdruck vor.

Goethe wählte — durchaus im Wettstreit mit dem darin erfolgreichen Johann Heinrich Voß — als Versform durchgehend den Hexameter. Er gab dem Werk stark spöttische, mitunter boshafte Züge; sein Epos kann durchaus auch als Kritik des höfischen Lebens gelesen werden, das er gut kannte.

El Romancero Gitano es una de las creaciones líricas más significativas del siglo XX. Punto culminante de la primera etapa estética de Lorca, el propio poeta lo define como `el poema de Andalucía, y lo llamo gitano porque el gitano es lo más elevado, lo más profundo, más aristocrático de mi país, lo más representativo de su modo y el que guarda el ascua, la sangre y el alfabeto de la verdad andaluza y universal`. Es, sin embargo, `un libro donde apenas sí está expresada la Andalucía que se ve, pero donde está temblando la que no se ve: un libro antipintoresco, antifolclórico, antiflamenco…, donde las figuras sirven a fondos milenarios y donde no hay más que un personaje grande y oscuro como un cielo de estío… la Pena `.

A work of immense cultural significance and beauty, this long poem became an anthem for the African diaspora and the birth of the Negritude movement. With unusual juxtapositions of object and metaphor, a bouquet of language-play, and deeply resonant rhythms, Césaire considered this work a "break into the forbidden," at once a cry of rebellion and a celebration of black identity.

"Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead" is an absurdist, existentialist tragicomedy by Tom Stoppard, first staged at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1966.

The play was adapted for a film released in February 1990, with screenplay and direction by Stoppard. The motion picture is Stoppard's only film directing credit: "[I]t began to become clear that it might be a good idea if I did it myself - at least the director wouldn't have to keep wondering what the author meant. It just seemed that I'd be the only person who could treat the play with the necessary disrespect." The cast included Gary Oldman as Rosencrantz, Tim Roth as Guildenstern, Richard Dreyfuss as the Player, Joanna Roth as Ophelia, Ian Richardson as Polonius, Joanna Miles as Gertrude, Donald Sumpter as Claudius, and Iain Glen as Hamlet.
